HORSE Update

I played the HORSE event today. I don’t play these games anymore, and I have to be honest, I felt outclassed today. About 10 players beat me home, but I busted just before the end of play tonight.

I had a really bad level in Razz, where I started off with the best hand, and the hand always fell apart. I didn’t have a good feeling, or any momentum all day. I got up to 64,000 at one stage, but stayed below the 50,000 starting level for the rest of the day. I had a really good table, too. I saw one table that had Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Greg Raymer, and a couple other tough players at it. That was just one table to name a few. This was a very tough field.

I didn’t really enjoy it. Sometimes you have days like that where you don’t have the run, and its stressful, and frustrating. It was a big tournament, and I really wanted to do well in it, but I just couldn’t get into the groove, and things weren’t going my way.

So, its back to the $2,500 short handed event tomorrow, and hopefully, I will do well.

Some of my friends are doing well in the WSOP. Kirill Gerasimov, who I also swapped 5% with, has cashed in four events, and is doing well. I gotta get back on track for the WSOP, its looking pretty thin so far.
