With 10k in starting chips and a slow structure early, I got to this event one hour and 30 minutes late. That left me down about 500 chips. It seemed to be a pretty good table with good value on the right hand side and I was in good form playing a real tight game. I was waiting for good cards to play; I should call this a safe option. I sometimes use it because if you play more creative, you can play a lot more hands but it’s much harder to play creative so I went for the easy way today.
